Just as the shaft gives the arrow its strength and direction, our Member Associations give structure to our sport and help our athletes soar. To support this mission, World Archery must invest in the systems and relationships that empower both. This means creating stronger development pathways, elevating athlete voices, and tailoring support to meet the real-world needs of each country. It also means building smarter systems that make tools, knowledge, and mentorship more accessible to everyone. These are the priorities that have emerged from our conversations — and they are the foundation of my commitments.

Enhance Athlete Development Pathways:
Help Member Associations identify talent, support high-performance growth, and bridge the gap between top-tier and developing nations.

Strengthen Athlete Representation:
Promote additional opportunities for athletes to be integrated into our decision-making bodies.

Tailor Development Programs:
A one-size-fits-all approach does not work. World Archery must provide customized support that reflects Member Association specific needs.

Develop an Online Resource Hub:
Move beyond the extranet to a dynamic digital platform offering best practices, templates, mentorship tools, and exchange programs to connect and elevate our global community.

Our events are where archery comes to life; where athletes strive for excellence, spectators connect with the experience, and our sport gains global visibility. They also reflect the dedication of our hosts, who commit time, resources, and energy to deliver events that elevate the entire archery community.

As the world around us changes, so must our approach. To meet growing expectations and make the most of every opportunity, our events need to evolve. They must be rewarding and fair for athletes, immersive for spectators, financially viable for hosts, and a catalyst for the long-term growth of our sport.

Reimagine Archery Events:
Elevate the experience for both athletes and audiences through better storytelling, digital enhancements, and event formats that are engaging, affordable, and globally relevant.

Explore Flexible Event Hosting:
Develop scalable event packages that reduce the financial and logistical burden on hosts. These models should allow more Member Associations to host events, while maintaining high competition standards.

Audit World Cup Hosting Requirements:
Conduct a focused review of what is truly necessary, identifying where requirements can be simplified or costs reduced, so hosts can prioritize resources toward athlete experience and event impact.

Support Emerging Hosts:
Provide hands-on guidance, mentorship, and practical planning tools to empower new hosts—especially those in underrepresented regions or with less access to event infrastructure.

Governance is not just about structure; it is about trust, consistency, inclusion, and communication. Many Member Associations have emphasized the importance of being more involved, better informed, and truly consulted before key decisions are made.

Today, the gap between policy decisions and Member Association engagement is still too wide. Consultation is often limited, feedback loops are inconsistent, and decisions can feel distant from those most affected. We need better systems—but we also need an enhanced culture: one where leadership listens first, shares openly, and takes responsibility for ensuring that every voice is heard before key actions are taken. Under my leadership, governance will not be an internal function, but a visible, shared process — anchored in transparency and service.

As President, I will lead by example, prioritizing support, responsiveness, and active listening across the World Archery administration as we pursue our shared goals.

Foster Collaborative Decision-Making:
Include impacted stakeholders in the decision-making process.

Expand Consultation Channels:
Host regular town hall meetings as well as gather feedback through surveys and benchmarking. Communicate what is learned and how it will shape action.

Align with Best Practices:
Work with ASOIF to understand and implement governance improvements that enhance performance and better serve our global community.

Archery’s precision and focus make it uniquely captivating, yet navigating today’s media landscape presents real challenges. Despite significant investments in event production and broadcasting, widespread demand for our live content has yet to materialize. Rather than seeing this as a setback, it is an opportunity to reimagine how we showcase what makes our sport special. By deepening our connections with athletes, fans, and new audiences, we can build a stronger foundation and redefine archery’s presence on the global stage.

Strategic partnerships will be key to elevating our sport’s visibility and impact. As President, I will work to build alliances with foundations, sponsors, and global organizations that share our vision and values. These partnerships can unlock new funding, fuel innovation, and help us grow — expanding archery’s reach to new audiences and regions.
