Back To Where it All Begins

With six weeks left until the vote, I’ve found myself exactly where this journey started. Not just in meetings or strategy sessions, but at the archery centers, local clubs, and community gatherings that are the heartbeat of our sport.

This week, I’ve had the privilege of visiting several grassroots training hubs, places where coaches give their time, volunteers keep things running, and young athletes dream their way toward greatness. These aren’t just practice fields. They’re community connection points. The daily lifeblood of archery in every country.

And just as inspiring was the opportunity to stand alongside athletes at the finals event here in Madrid, where I helped present medals and celebrate the excellence, discipline, and spirit that define our sport at the highest level.

Whether it’s a small club tucked into a city park, a national training center, or the global stage of a championship final, each moment has reminded me of what truly sustains archery: people who care, who give, and who build day after day.
